»Study on Information Technology status in Zambia
ZRDC consultants were responsible for: (i) assessing the training needs in the information technology sector; (ii) conducting surveys regarding the teaching/institutional capacity of the relevant organizations, including universities, high schools and governmental agencies
 

»Study on Human Resource Development Plan
The project focused upon: (i) the training of trainers; (ii) implementation of the Human Resources Development Master Plan; and (iii) support of activities for the development of human resources. ZRDC carried out the following tasks: (i) preparation and provision of training programs for both HRD officers and lecturers; (ii) preparation of a training management system; (iii) improvement and development of the operation of the HRD Technology Section; (iv) planning for a Distance Learning System; (ix) career development planning.

»Capacity Building for Economic Recovery 
Studied possible measures to improve public resource mobilization and utilization (budget systems), including a large public administration reform component. This involved, among others: (i) job classification and grading of the entire Ministry of Labour; (ii) assessment of capacity building needs and develop strategies and action plans for capacity building; (iii) review and revision of the laws and regulations that cover the private sector; and (iv) elimination of constraints to the development of women, etc. ZRDC demand-driven technical assistance employed a range of instruments including studies, seminars, workshops, and training programs.
