»Study on Digital Self-Learning Material Development 
The study aimed at introducing information technology (IT) education to Zambia's formal educational system and enhance the capability of the government to plan, specify, and procure digital teaching materials from private production firms. Also provided a training program for government officials on digitalization of textbooks including analysis, specification, development, implementation, and evaluation of digitization.

»Multimedia Technology Training/Development Center Project
Aimed to collect and analyze information on the current IT situation in Zambia, and to elaborate the project activities as well as the implementation system. Tasks included: (i) assessing the training needs in the information technology sector; (ii) conducting surveys regarding the teaching/institutional capacity of the relevant organizations, including universities, high schools and governmental agencies; and (iii) preparing a technical cooperation plan for staff of the University of Zambia and the Ministry of Education.

»National Metrology System Development Project
The project was aimed to determine all procedures for implementing metrological equipment, from designing data to completing final engineering report for implementation of metrological system and equipment to the National Metrological Centre of Zambia.

»Pilot Education MIS Database Project for the Department of Vocational Education
The objective of this management information system development project was to install the Intranet System at National In-Service Teachers Training College (NISTCO), and distant information communication (wide area network; WAN) in order to support information communication; and to develop a model information network for other institutions in the Department of Vocational Education.

»Inter-University Computer Network Implementation
Drawing upon the latest computer and communications technologies, we formulated a plan to develop an advanced computer network connecting universities and research institutions for enhancing their research capabilities. The work involved needs assessment for an advanced computer network and determination of the network including component requirements and specifications.
