Our vision is to engage in activities that stimulate international collaboration, promote data sharing, make research expertise available to decision makers, and engage in a wide variety of research undertakings. We aim to address poverty and all cardinal issues that affect the Sub-Saharan region through institutional and capacity building, human empowerment and gender participation in all decision-making frameworks.

To increase education opportunities and improve the quality of education in  all Zambian institutions.

To speed-up the drift towards new opportunities of E-commerce and electronic governance (E-governance).

Through practical activities and research activities, ZRDC targets the young Zambian generation to learn to develop creativity and improve their abilities in developing and applying practical technologies that are required in industrial working environments. 

To provide training and education opportunities that will lead to acquisition of the problem solving and technology development abilities.

To provide a broad range of consultancy services, through teams of expertise comprising ZRDC professionals with extensive experience in consulting.
